Q&A
Feel free to ask Amandine any questions you might have as she runs errands for her ladyship.

Adelaide was spending another afternoon busying herself with arranging a bouquet of flowers inside a small shoppe. Two of her nurses stood waiting politely by the door, watching the young widow as she put together the brightest arrangement of buds she could manage. After finishing one of her nurses paid for the items she had used before they exited out into the sunshine, the flowers clutched in Adelaide's hands.

Her attention was focused on the bouquet and not where she was walking. It wasn't long before she felt one of her nurses take hold of her arm to keep her from walking straight into Amandine.

An innocent smile crossed the young woman's face as she looked at the person she had nearly bumped into. "Flower, Madame?" she asked curiously as she carefully removed a bright pink rose from the bundle in her hand.

Amandine was not used to gestures such as these, not in England, and so suspicious was she that she thought about ignoring her and contiuing her errand. However the fact the girl (how could she call her that, when she was no more than a year younger than herself?) had said Madame as if she knew her... and that caused Amandine to smile for old times.

"Thank you," she said quietly assessing if this girl was married or simply the daughter of richness, "But I would not like to destroy your bouquet, Madame. You have done a fine job of it..."

Adelaide's smile faded slightly as she lowered her hand and the flower. Her nurses had stepped back a few feet, allowing the young widow some privacy. For a young moment the distraught redhead was unsure of what to do. Finally she smiled again and nodded.

"It is no worry," Adelaide promised as she held the rose out for the other woman again. "I feel I have seen you before," she admitted faintly.

Amandine took the rose with a smile, her expression brightening. "It is very kind of you, Madame..." she said, giving a small nod and a bow to show her appreciation. "I - do not remember meeting you, I apologise. My memory is not good as of late."

"It is no worry, Madame," Adelaide said softly. She looked back to her nurses again, as if they would know as to why the other woman looked familiar. But they gave no reaction, except for a smile encouraging the young girl to continue socializing. Looking a little lost Adelaide turned back to Amandine. "Oh, perhaps I have you confused with another from back in Paris," she admitted gently. "I have trouble with names and faces, I am sorry."
